Like all other diseases, the base Prakriti of an individual is a fair indicator of the kind of disease that he/ she may acquire. Kapha Prakriti individuals are clearly susceptible to acquiring respiratory disorders. The weak immune system is another strong indicator of susceptibility towards respiratory system disorders.
Internal medications like anti-asthmatic, Broncho dialytic, expectorants, mucolytics, blood purifiers, immunity boosters are combined with special external treatments like nasyam and dhoopam to balance the dosha imbalance and revive the respiratory system.
